Mathematical Disposition Scheme of Elementary School Students based on Adversity Quotient (AQ)

This research is motivated by the lack of public awareness importance affective aspects in world education, especially mathematics. In mathematics, a positive attitude towards mathematics which includes self-confidence, flexibility, persistence, curiosity and appreciation role called mathematical disposition. One internal factors that influence disposition Advesity Quotient (AQ) has three levels, namely climber, camper quitter. The purpose this study describe students with AQ climbers, campers quitters. approach used qualitative descriptive type. instrument an aq questionnaire to classify students' levels observation sheet determine dispositions. subjects were fifth grade Mataram City area. conclusions are (1) Subjects climber have score 90% can show all indicators disposition, (2) 57.5% (3) quitter 41.5% does not at all.
